Barbara “Bobbie” Ann Felizzi

    Smithfield – Barbara “Bobbie” Ann Reiss Felizzi, 69, declared victory over her third battle with cancer as she slipped into Jesus’ arms on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Born January 18, 1951 in Middletown, NY, she was the daughter of Theodore “Ted” Reiss of Smithfield and the late Doris Cole Reiss. Bobbie was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Smithfield.

    Bobbie is survived by her husband, Tony Felizzi; sons, Mark Felizzi and wife Sabrina of Smithfield, Jay Felizzi and wife Meredith of Huntersville and Michael Felizzi and wife Mandy of Zebulon; and grandchildren, Katie Felizzi, Karsyn Felizzi, Beckett Felizzi, Presley Felizzi, Carlin Felizzi, Hodges Felizzi, Quinn Felizzi, Reed Felizzi and Emery Felizzi.

    After their wedding, Bobbie and Tony moved to Germany as he continued his service with the US Air Force. During their time in Germany, they toured Europe and had many adventures. Bobbie and Tony, along with their three sons, moved to North Carolina from New York in 1984 where they spent the rest of their married years, raising their children and welcoming grandchildren.

    Bobbie was an energetic, spunky, infectiously happy lady with an incomparable zest for life. Her most important job was as a devoted grandmother, mother and wife, as well as a loyal friend and a woman of faith.

    In addition to her mother, Bobbie was preceded in death by her brother, William H. Reiss.

    A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Centenary UMC with Rev. William Holliday officiating.
