Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Donald Linwood Parker, age 77, 1050 US Hwy 701 S., passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC. Funeral Services will be held 2:00PM Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield. Elder Tony Parker and Elder David Brooks will officiate.
Mr. Parker was born on September 11, 1943 in Johnston County to the late Elonzo and Sally Jane Parker. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mr. Parker retired from Johnston County Industries in Smithfield and was a farmer. He was a member of Four Oaks Primitive Baptist Church where he served in many capacities.
Surviving include his wife of 52 years, Linda Gail Hayes Parker; sons, Elder Tony Parker and wife, Leslie; Tracy Parker and wife, Amanda all of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Tyler Parker, Austin Parker, Lee Thomas and Hallie Thomas; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Parker will be available for viewing, and you may sign the register book on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 9:00AM-5:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC. The family will not be present during this time.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials to Four Oaks Primitive Baptist Church, 1050 US HWY 701 S. Four Oaks, NC 27524.
