SELMA – Gail Renée Prince “Rainy” Fox, age 47, died Tuesday evening July 25, 2017 in UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield. Born December 14, 1969 in Jamestown, NY to the late Merle Orvis and Beverly Arlene Delahoy Prince, she was preceded in death by a brother, Merle O. Prince, Jr. Rainy was a passionate elementary school teacher who believed in education to the point that she was working on her third Master’s Degree maintaining a 4.0 grade point average throughout. She was a wonderful wife and best friend, a loving mother and aunt, who also loved her horses and dogs. She was an avid reader that always had her nose in a book of some sort.
Surviving are her husband, Douglas Fox, sons, Landon R. Williams of the US Army and Lane R. Williams of Selma; daughter, Lakin B. Gajewski of Clayton; brother, Dale M. Prince and wife Judy of Sinclairville, NY; sister, Susan L. Buck and husband Gary of Key West, FL; mother-in-law, Donna Fox of Jamestown, NY and two nieces, Brittany Mosier of Prince George, VA and Alisha Centa of Gerry, NY.
There are no formal service planned at this time.
