Princeton High Student Wins VFW Voice Of Democracy Essay Contest

Princeton High School student Nathanael Starling was named the winner of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 5886 Voice of Democracy essay contest.

Starling received a scholarship in the amount of $500 for winning. According to the VFW, the audio-essay program provides high school students with the unique opportunity to express themselves in regards to a democratic and patriotic-themed recorded essay.

Starling was presented with a certificate and his scholarship by VFW Post 5886 members Rudy Baker and Heather Funk at his school on March 4.
