A man charged with statutory rape is being held on a $1 million bond at the Johnston County Jail.
Gerardo Rodriguez-Castro, of Sauls Lane, Selma, was arrested February 12th by the Johnston County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s detectives had been investigating a sexual assault reported January 18, 2021 that resulted in the arrest of the 23 year-old suspect.
Rodriguez-Castro was charged with statutory rape of a child by an adult and statutory rape of a child under age 15. No additional details were released because the case involves a juvenile victim.
This is one more low life. I am unable to express how I feel but it is not good. Animal is just a small thought. Life for this animal and put him in his cage.
