  1. mmmmm, yummy New York and California dollars coming in…just as the mentality behind the Southern ratification of the 16th intended.

  2. We’re supposed to be happy he made ”
requests. Let us know when the money is in place and to what extent the projects are funded. Also, where is the money coming from?

  3. What makes nc state so special. Let me guess hmmm. Like they need the money. Nc state gets money from everywhere. Why don’t you give these D2 schools money to do stuff

  4. Y’all are the whiniest bunch of people. Waa Waa Waa – like a wambulance. We’re spending tax money to improve things – waa waa waa

    • The Cry Babies are simply Ignorant people who know nothing of the real world surrounding us.
      They deserve NO Voice.
      Period.
Probably can even manage their own family.

      • I voted for him and completely agree with spending money here in North Carolina. But I’m with @lol why is NC State getting so much money. They have all of that stuff already they want to expand which would mean more student may enroll. How about the D2 colleges that don’t have these big sponsors like unc and. Nc state and all D1 colleges. Can’t we give more money to the smaller schools to help them grow and attract more students . H*ll don’t they deserve to grow plants also

  5. I’ve got mixed feelings about this subject. On one hand the money they give away isn’t free. They will want something in return. On the other hand I would like for NC to benefit instead of the more progressive states.

  6. 6.5 million to plant seeds? Dang I am in the wrong business.
Good soil, Good water no weeds… that’s how a crop grows. Can I get some of that 6.5 please?

    • I agree How do you favor 1 college to build their programs to attract more kids to that school ? Maybe I’m missing something! Between the hurricanes and the multi million dollar sponsors they have they should have plenty of money to do it their self .

  7. People, he has made “ requests” these are not guaranteed funds. This is obviously nothing more than a paid advertisement for nickel. I’ve noticed more and more of this on Jocoreport. Bet they won’t post this.
