School Board Approves Two Personnel Appointments

SMITHFIELD – The Johnston County Board of Education approved two personnel appointments at the request of Superintendent Dr. Eric Bracy.

  • Kristy Stephenson was named Assistant Superintendent of Research and Accountability (CIA).
  • Hunter Johnson was named Fleet Services Supervisor for Transportation Services.

Both appointments were approved by unanimous vote at the March school board meeting.

  1. It would be very interesting to see the JoCo school system organizational chart. It appears they have a lot of employees with Superintendent in their titles. I question the salaries of these employees, the number of direct reports, and their productivity. I think the tax payers spend to much on administrative staff and not enough on students and teachers.

  2. How many teachers could they have gotten with those 2 salaries just to make Bracy job easier
