Smoother Drive Ahead For Wake County Roads

RALEIGH – The N.C. Department of Transportation recently awarded a $4.4 million contract to Blythe Construction Inc. to improve more than 11 miles of secondary roads in Wake County.

The work will involve milling, resurfacing and shoulder reconstruction for five sections of Trinity Road, a portion of Maynard and Hammond roads, along with several other small sections located in North Raleigh.

The contractor can start as soon as next month, with completion scheduled for the summer of 2027.
