SSS Plans Parade, Soccer And Football For 57th Homecoming
SMITHFIELD, N.C. – Smithfield-Selma High School will celebrate its 57th Homecoming on Wednesday, Oct. 14, with a parade, soccer match and football game.
The Homecoming parade will begin at 4 p.m. and travel along Durwood Stephenson Parkway from the entrance to Smithfield Community Park to the traffic light and entrance at Smithfield-Selma High School.
Spectators may park in the lot in front of the school gym.
Following the parade, the SSS soccer team will take on Southeast Raleigh.
Homecoming festivities will continue that evening at Charles T. Tucker Stadium, where the Spartans will face the Fuquay-Varina Tigers at 7 p.m.
The school will also present its Homecoming Court and crown the 2026 Homecoming Queen during the evening.
Residents of Smithfield, Selma and surrounding communities are invited to attend the celebration and support the Spartans.
