US 70 Reopens Following Three Vehicle Collision

PRINCETON – A collision involving two tractor trailers and a passenger car blocked all eastbound lanes of US 70 at Pine Street in Princeton, Wednesday afternoon.
Eastbound traffic was diverted through Downtown Princeton for a time causing major traffic congestion.
A saddle tank filled with diesel fuel on one semi ruptured. Emergency management officials responded to assist with the cleanup.

No serious injuries were reported.
This is the second crash at the same intersection within a week.
(Editor’s Note: Two of the vehicles involved in the accident had been towed from the scene by the time we arrived.)
