A weekend fire displaced two families from an apartment building owned by the Goldsboro Housing Authority.
The fire was reported just after midnight Saturday on Vanderbilt Circle.
The blaze displaced a 31 year-old woman and her 9 children along with an adjacent apartment occupied by a 36 year-old woman and her 5 children.
All 16 people made it out of the apartments without injury.
The fire is believed to have started on a porch shortly after someone was seen running away from the area. Goldsboro Police are investigating the blaze.
