DUNN – Central Baptist Church invites the community to experience a stirring Easter drama and worship event, “Behold Him,” written by Pastor James Neal with music directed by Pastor Darren Hughes. This compelling production brings to life the timeless story of Easter, centered around a lesser-known Biblical character from Luke 22:7-13. The drama will be presented on Saturday, March 30th at 6pm and Easter Sunday, March 31st at 10am.
“Behold Him” transports audiences back to the heart of Jerusalem during the sacred week of Passover. Follow the story of Nathan and his father as they navigate the bustling city, encountering Jesus of Nazareth. Experience the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, the dramatic cleansing of the Temple, and poignant moments of teaching and interaction with disciples and religious leaders. Delve into the emotional depth of the Last Supper, the betrayal by Judas, and the trial before Pilate, leading to the climactic crucifixion and triumphant resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Throughout “Behold Him,” audiences will be captivated by the power of faith, sacrifice, and redemption. With a talented cast bringing the characters to life and stirring musical performances, this Easter event promises to be a memorable and meaningful experience for the entire family.
