Clayton Police are searching for four suspects wanted for a rash of car break-ins. The suspects are believed to be responsible for going through vehicles parked at more than a dozen homes in the Richardson Place and Walnut Creek subdivisions. All the vehicles had been left unlocked.
Police have released surveillance images of the four suspects in hopes someone will recognize them. Detectives believe the suspects are from the Durham or Chapel Hill areas.
The first suspect is a male, age 17-24, about 6 feet tall, with shoulder length dread locks, light-black skin and a thin build. The second suspect is a male, age 17-30, about 5 foot 8 inches tall with black skin and a medium build. The third suspect is a male, age 19-30, about 6 feet tall with light-black skin, short hair and a thin build. The final suspect is a female, age 17-22, 5 foot 4 inches tall with light-black skin and a thin build.
