WAYNE COUNTY – A Pikeville man has been arrested on homicide and narcotic charges following a drug deal that ended in murder.
Chase Andrew Hare, age 21, of Pikeville-Princeton Road, is charged with murder, sell marijuana, discharge a firearm into an occupied vehicle, and attempt to discharge a firearm into an occupied vehicle.

On March 10 at approximately 10:14 pm, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an armed robbery at the Noz Gas & Grill store, located at 4453 US Highway 117 South Alternate.
During the investigation, it was determined that two separate parties, consisting of four people, agreed to meet in the store parking lot to conduct a drug transaction. During the transaction, a disturbance began, which led to multiple firearms being brandished.
After the disturbance was over and as one of the individuals began to leave in the car they arrived in, Chase Hare allegedly fired a handgun in their direction. The driver of the vehicle, Qua’ron Faison, was struck by one of the gunshots and died from his injuries.
Hare is being held in the Wayne County Detention Center without bond.
Romans 6:23: “23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Repentance is the key to a better society…proof is all around us.
It’s bad when the media do t even get it right

Get a lawyer.. this sounds like self defense…what caused ( Chase) the young man to fire at the vehicle?? They had to try & rob him or something.. it’s called defending yourself….. needs to see footage of everything.. was it drugs or was this something else??? Was this right? NO.. but at the end of the day you are defending yourself…
