Johnston Commissioners Cancel July 20 Morning Meeting
SMITHFIELD, N.C. — The Johnston County Board of Commissioners has canceled its regularly scheduled 10:00 a.m. meeting on Monday, July 20.
County officials announced that all agenda items originally scheduled for the morning session will instead be considered during the Board’s regularly scheduled 6:00 p.m. meeting the same day.
Residents wishing to address the Board during the public comment period are encouraged to attend the 6:00 p.m. meeting.
The Board of Commissioners typically meets twice on the third Monday of each month, with sessions scheduled at 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. However, county officials said only the evening meeting will be held on July 20.
The evening meeting will be held in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room at the Johnston County Courthouse Annex, 207 E. Johnston Street in Smithfield.
