KS Banks Partners With Local Developers To Revitalize Historic Clayton Town Hall
CLAYTON – In an exciting collaboration, KS Bank has partnered with local developers Kevin & Carrie Lee, and local business owners Christi Thompson and Erin Nenni, to revitalize the historic Clayton town hall, with additional support from the Town of Clayton.

Through this partnership, the centuries-old, vacant building will be transformed into a lively mixed-use retail building that will serve as a commercial hub for the entire community, called The Station. The space will consist of a three-floor layout, with each floor dedicated to a different purpose, such as dining, shopping, or office spaces.
As a private financial institution deeply rooted in the community, KS Bank has committed to providing the necessary financial support and expertise to ensure the successful revitalization of the building. By partnering with these local entrepreneurs, the bank is leveraging its resources to catalyze positive change and growth within the community.
“We are thrilled to be part of this project that will not only transform a key historic landmark but also create opportunities for local businesses and residents,” said Earl W. Worley, Jr., President/CEO of KS Bank. “This partnership exemplifies our commitment to fostering community development and promoting economic vitality in Clayton. It also shows the unique opportunities that can come from dreaming big and banking locally with a community bank like KS Bank.”
Local developers Kevin and Carrie Lee shared, “We are both proudly and deeply honored to be part of this transformative project in the heart of the town where we were born and raised. The Station is more than a redevelopment – it’s a meaningful reinvestment in Clayton’s past, present, and future. KS Bank took the time to understand the full scope of the project and truly envisioned it alongside us. This endeavor is deeply personal, and we are sincerely grateful for their support and shared commitment to bringing our vision to life.”
“Through the visionary efforts of community members who have stepped forward to reimagine the old town hall, and KS Bank’s dedication to funding local projects, we’re not just preserving a piece of our town’s heritage; we’re infusing it with new vitality,” said Clayton Mayor Jody McLeod.
The Station represents the collaboration of public and private entities working together to preserve the town’s rich heritage, drive the local economy, and set the stage for a brighter and more prosperous future for all stakeholders involved.
