Live Music Returns To Clayton’s Town Square With Season-Opening Concert

CLAYTON, N.C. – The wait is over. The Downtown Clayton Concert Series returns for the season opener with The Blackwater Band. This free concert takes place Friday, May 8 in Town Square, at the corner of Main and O’Neil Streets.
Headlining the evening, The Blackwater Band brings a vibrant, crowd-pleasing sound that embraces the fun and energizing spirit of Soul, R&B, Funk, Yacht Rock, Rock and Roll, and Country music. Known for their versatility and high-energy performances, the band delivers a dynamic mix of genres that keep audiences dancing and engaged from start to finish. Their ability to blend classic influences with a lively stage presence makes them a standout act for a summer night in Downtown Clayton.
Come early for fun activities starting at 6 p.m. and don’t forget to bring a blanket or lawn chair to relax and enjoy the show.
