A Massachusetts woman was arrested Friday morning after Smithfield Police were called to a domestic dispute at a local motel.
Just after midnight, police responded to a disturbance at the Super 8 at 735 Outlet Center Drive.
Interim Police Chief Keith Powell said one of the individuals involved, 40 year-old Rinda C. Cherry, of Holyoke, MA was determined to have 3.3 grams of suspected marijuana in her possession.
Cherry was charged with possession of marijuana. She was given a $2,000 bond pending her court appearance.
