Minor Injuries Reported In School Bus Accident

JOHNSTON COUNTY – Friday afternoon, school bus 607 from Corinth Holders Elementary School collided with a passenger car that reportedly failed to yield at a stop sign at the intersection of NC 96 and Earpsboro Road in northern Johnston County.

Four of the 21 students on the bus complained of minor injuries. All were evaluated at the scene by Johnston County EMS paramedics. There were no victims transported to the hospital by EMS.

The driver of the passenger car was charged with failure to yield by the State Highway Patrol.
