Smithfield’s newest police officer Jennifer LeCrone has taken her Oath of Office. Officer LeCrone was officially sworn in July 6th by Mayor Andy Moore during the monthly meeting of the Smithfield town council.
Officer LeCrone is a graduate of the Basic Law Enforcement Training program at Wayne Community College. She has just over a year of experience with the Goldsboro Police Department.
“I look forward to new learning experiences and new opportunities with the Town of Smithfield,” Officer LeCrone told the Johnston County Report. “I look forward to serving the community.”
