Benson, NC: Ms. Alice Powell Allen, age 82, of Rose Court passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM- Sunday, March 13, 2022 at the Rose and Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Rev. Paul Rowland, Jr. will officiate. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park in Smithfield.
Ms. Allen was born on May 11, 1939 in Johnston County, NC to the late Aaron Cutus and Elma Lee Powell. She was preceded in death by her sister, Louise Powell Rhodes; brother, Luby Powell. Ms. Allen retired from Square D in Knightdale.
Surviving include her son, Dale Baker of Four Oaks; grandchildren, Adam Dale Baker, Eric Reid Baker, and Lauren Elyse Baker; sisters, Helen Powell Allen and Joyce Powell Wood both of Four Oaks; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks on Saturday, March 12, 2022 and other times at the home.
