Dunn – Ammie “A.T.” Hinson Jr., age 83, passed away at his home on Friday February 24, 2023. He was born in Sampson County on November 16, 1939 to the late Ammie T. Hinson Sr. and Minnie Westbrook Hinson. In addition to his mother and father, he is also preceded in death by a brother, Lenzo Hinson and a sister, Nancy Hinson.
The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Wednesday March 1, 2023 from 10 AM to 11 AM. A funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home on Wednesday March 1, 2023 at 11 AM. Burial will follow the service in Hinson Family Cemetery.
Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife, Edna Sullivan Hinson, of the home; son, Almon “Tim” Hinson of Charleston SC; daughter, Susan Page of Newton Grove NC; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
