Mrs. Amy Jo Godwin Faircloth, age 54 of Strickland’s Crossroads Road, Four Oaks, NC, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC, surrounded by her loving family. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM-Sunday, August 14, 2022 at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church, Benson, NC. Rev. Joe Brown and Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate.
Amy was born on July 17, 1968 in Harnett County, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Sanford Godwin, Jr. Amy was a registered nurse, working at The Laurels of Forest Glenn in Garner, NC. Amy enjoyed going to the beach, and watching nature especially red birds. She was a member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church, and was loved by all her family.
Survivors include her mother, Janna Adams Dorman and husband, Terry; children, Chassidy Koon and husband, Jon, Joshua Faircloth and wife, Samantha, Jeramy Faircloth and Kayla, and Andrew Faircloth; granddaughter, Paisley Faircloth; sister, Amanda Blackman and husband, Jerry; uncles, Joel Adams, Ira Dunn and wife, Judy; aunt, Jennifer Hall and husband, David; niece, Harley Blackman; nephew, Jaret Blackman; step-mother, Karen Godwin; many cousins and special friends.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the fellowship hall of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church, and other times at the home.
