Princeton – Betty Jo Ryan Rhodes, age 74, passed away Monday August 8, 2022, at her home in Princeton. She was born in Johnston County on June 24, 1948, to the late Robert Ryan and Frances Eason Ryan.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in the Eason Family Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at Parrish Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
Mrs. Rhodes is survived by son, Gary Rhodes and wife Emily of Princeton; daughter, Tracy Bailey and husband Harvey of Wilson’s Mills; brother, Bobby Ryan of Zebulon; sisters, Peggy Creech of Zebulon and Shirly Horne of Wilson; grandchildren, Zach Stanley and wife Aurora, Samuel Rhodes, Caitlyn Jackson and husband Robert, Ryan Rhodes, Noah Rhodes, Kacie Elizabeth Brock and partner Walter Poindexter; great grandchildren, Bailey Jackson, Adaline Stanley and Weston.
Mrs. Rhodes attended Temple church in Selma and loved to spend time with her family, shopping, going on cruises and planting flowers.
