Four Oaks – Blanche Marie Aultman Lilly, age 81, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Born, April 19, 1941, in Sumrall County Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late Paul B. Aultman and Doris M. Nichols.
She was a 1960 graduate of Sumrall High School and attended William Carey College in Mississippi. Blanche graduated from cosmetology school and was also a hat check girl at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington DC. She spent most of her life living in Maryland.
In addition to her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her sisters, Jeanie Gooding, and Judy Roberts, and brother, Jerry Nichols.
Blanche enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved her cat, dogs, chickens, and horses. She enjoyed being in the sunshine and listening to music when the flowers were in bloom.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, MS, with the burial to follow in Roseland Park Cemetery.
Blanche is survived by son, Barry W. Lilly of New Carrollton, MD, daughters; Brenda K. Cash of Tampa, FL, Barbara A. Pavel of Four Oaks, NC, brother, Paul B. Aultman Jr. of Brandon, MS, sister, Betty Ajmani of Alexandria, VA, nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
