Crystal Jean Turner DiCorte, age 61, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2022 at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh. Born May 12, 1961 in Johnston County she was a daughter of Jean McCullen Best of Pine Level and the late James Harrison Turner. Crystal was preceded in death by her stepfather, Donald Best; and stepsister, Debbie Austin. Crystal was a member of Church of Faith in Selma.

Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2022 in Church of Faith with Rev. Thomas Pearce officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the church just prior to the service. A private family burial will be conducted in Price Cemetery.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Johnny DiCorte; daughters, Kristi Wilson (Brandon) of Selma and Pam Edwards (Michael) of Princeton; son, Justin DiCorte of Selma; sister, Lisa Whaley (Michael Tyndall) of Pine Level; stepbrother, Donald G. Best (Beverly) of Princeton; niece, Melissa Robbins (Brian); and grandchildren, Ian Cooke, Izzie Cooke, Brooklyn Wilson, Joseph Edwards, Connor Edwards and Dylan Edwards.
