Dennis Hoyt Hill, Jr., 59, of Smithfield, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at his home. Dennis was born in Johnston County on July 17, 1963 to the late Dennis Hoyt Hill, Sr. and Alice Ann Stephenson Hill.
Dennis is survived by his daughter, Alison Hill of Princeton; son, Dennis Wayne Hill of West Virginia; sisters, Sharon Jones and husband Phil of Marshville, N.C., Betsy Hill of Princeton, and Denise Hill of Princeton; four grandchildren, Caroline Futch, Alexis Futch, Skyler Hall, LakeLand Matheny, and several other family and friends.
Dennis was a loving father, son, brother, and friend. He worked as a carpenter, building homes all his life. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching his country westerns on tv. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed but precious memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
No services will be held at this time.
