Four Oaks, NC: Ms. Jackie Marie Summerlin, age 66, of Harper House Road passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. Graveside Services will be held 4:00PM – Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Mill Creek Christian Church Cemetery, Bentonville. Officiating will be Revs. Jessica Braxton and Joshua Summerlin.
Ms. Summerlin was born on June 27, 1956 in Wayne County, NC to Hilda Marie Williams Summerlin of Newton Grove and the late, Everette Louis “Jim” Summerlin and a brother, Everette Ned Summerlin. Ms. Summerlin enjoyed being a farmer’s daughter, a waitress, and working at Belk’s. She was a member of Mill Creek Christian Church.
Surviving in addition to her mother, are her sisters and brothers, Ann Summerlin of Newton Grove, Randy Summerlin and wife, Teresa of Sneads Ferry, Billy Summerlin and wife, Dana of Rosewood; special friend, Anthony Westbrook of Bentonville; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 3:00PM to 3:45PM Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in the Mill Creek Christian Church sanctuary prior to the graveside service.
