Jacquilyn Capps Massengill, age 72, of Four Oaks, passed away on March 9, 2022 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Born in Johnston County on April 25, 1949, she was the daughter of Evangeline Blinson Hocutt of Smithfield and the late Lester Capps. Mrs. Massengill was preceded in death by her husband Larry Massengill and two sons Scotty Massengill and Clint Massengill.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 11 at 11:00 am in the Faith Crossing Cemetery on Faith Church Road near Four Oaks.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her daughter, Lynn Massengill of Four Oaks; her son, Larry Massengill, Jr. of Four Oaks; two grandchildren, Bailey Daughtry and wife Cara and Kaitlyn Massengill.
