Clayton- Janice Barrett El-Adham, age 71, went to her heavenly home on Monday, January 3, 2021.

Born in Saginaw Michigan on June 29, 1950, she was a daughter of the late John William Barrett and Mrytle Smith Barrett. Janice graduated from Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw Michigan in 1968.

Janice was a resident of North Carolina for more than 50 years and was a successful business owner for 30 years. She was a member of the River of Life Church in Raleigh and also attended Temple Baptist church in Selma.

A graveside service will be held at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by her husband, Samir El-Adham.

She is survived by sons, Robert Adham of Boston; Andrew Adham of Raleigh; Tareq Adham of Raleigh; daughter, Autumne Bennett of Apex; sister, Marry Ann Villalpando of Clayton; and grandchildren, Barrett Adham, Payton Adham, and Marley Bennett.

Donations can be made in Janice’s name to Temple Baptist Church in Selma at 1250 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576.
