Mrs. Jean Kimsey Carroll, age 85, of Garner, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022 at her residence. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM, Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1241 Old Fairground Road, Willow Spring, NC 27592. Rev. Mark White and Rev. Lester Bledsoe will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Carroll was born on June 1, 1937 in Forsyth County, NC to the late Von and Vera Smith Kimsey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Glenn Carroll, Sr., great-grandson, Anthony Cole Carroll, and a brother, Carroll Kimsey. Mrs. Carroll was a retired bookkeeper and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Willow Spring, NC. She was loved by all of her family and will be forever remembered.
Survivors include her children, Kelly Carroll Nordan and husband, Steve of Angier, NC; Tony Carroll and wife, Bridget of Willow Spring, NC; grandchildren, Stephanie Nordan, Stephen Nordan, Tyler Nordan and wife, Natalie, Samantha Nordan, Trey Carroll and wife, Jaime, Bryant Carroll and wife, Kara; great-grandchildren, Kimsey Bagley, Harris Bagley, Cooper Nordan, Riley Nordan, Tate Nordan, Tripp Nordan, Mary Tyler Nordan, Ruth Carroll, Ada Carroll, and Connor Carroll; sisters, Ivadess Dixon and Manetta Beeson; sister-in-law, Jan Kimsey; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home of Kelly and Steve Nordan 14288 NC HWY 210, Angier, NC 27501.
The family wishes to thank Danette Scott and Jeanne Cummings for their loving care given to Mrs. Carroll.
