Benson, NC: Mr. Jesse Glenwood “Glenn” Lee, age 68, of Meadowbrook Road, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Wake Med in Raleigh, NC. Funeral Services will be 1:00PM-Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Rev. Ronnie Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Benson, NC.
Mr. Lee was born on April 5, 1954 in Harnett County, NC to the late David “Olen” and Vida Belle Jernigan Lee. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jo Ann Sutton and a brother, Sherwood Lee. Mr. Lee was a retired farmer and also worked with Massengill Construction in Meadow, NC. He was a US Army Veteran and also served in the National Guard.
Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Pamela McLeod Lee; children, David Glenwood Lee and partner, Lindsey Smith, and Alicia Lee Peacock and husband, Connor; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:45AM-12:45PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC, and other times at the home of Alicia and Connor Peacock 694 Legacy Lane, Benson, NC 27504.

Glen Lee is the only person from the Meadow Community whom visited me when my mother, Cathy Peacock, died. Glen Lee was the only good person that lived in Meadow. I know he will be missed, because he actually cared to reach out to his loved ones.
