Clayton – Larry De Eisenhunt, age 77, Passed away January 12, 2024 at his home in Clayton. He was born in Wake County on June 20, 1946 to the late Ella Ivey Perry Eisenhunt and Lawrence Daniel Eisenhunt. In addition to his mother and father, he is also preceded in death by a sister, Elaine Hiatt;
His ashes will be scattered at a place that brought him joy, Harker’s Island.
He is survived by his daughters, Mindy Newport of Whispering Pines, and Kelli Short of Hillsborough; niece, Dana Anderson; brother-in-law, Randy Connor.

Sending condolences to Mr Larry’s family. He was a regular at the Shiny Diner where I worked as a teen. He had a special stool reserved just for him and brought us all joy as I know we did him. I remember him well and that was 20 years ago! RIP Mr Larry.
