Selma – Pauline Barbee Morris, age 89, went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 17, 2023, in her home surrounded by family. She was born August 15, 1933, in Johnston County to the late James Carl and Bertha Pope Barbee. She is preceded in death by two sons, Harold Wayne Morris and Dennis Edward Morris, four brothers and four sisters.
She will be greatly missed by all her loving family and friends. She was a lifelong member of Pine Level P.H. Church.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 19, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home in Selma. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the burial to follow in Kenly Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Morris Aycock (Ricky) of Selma; sons, Randy Morris (Susan) of Anchorage, Alaska and Jackie Leon Morris (Kelly) of Erwin, sister, Louise Overbee of Clayton, ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
