A daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother and Nana, Rochelle O’Neal Boswell, age 83, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 28, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at Bethany Missionary Baptist Church, 8980 Old Beulah Rd., Kenly. NC on Saturday June 3, 2023 at 3 PM with Pastor Daniel Arant officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, NC. The family will receive friends from 2PM to 2:45 PM Saturday prior to the service in the Family Life Center of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church.
Rochelle was a native of Johnston County and was the daughter of the late Adolphus (A.D.) and Rebecca Narron O’Neal. An elementary school teacher for 30 years she loved and taught children in Cabarrus and Johnston Counties, retiring from Corinth- Holders Elementary. She was a member of and truly loved the people of Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. Rochelle was dedicated to and loved her family, flowers, nature and writing poetry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Boswell and ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her sons, Les Parrish and his wife Tiffany of Clayton and Brent Parrish of Raleigh, a daughter, Lisa McAllister and her husband Scott of Wendell, two step-children, four grandchildren: John Ross Parrish, Will Parrish, Austin McAllister, Ava McAllister and five step grandchildren.
