Tony Martin Medlin, age 84, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 in Nash UNC Health Hospital in Rocky Mount. Born April 24, 1938 in Johnston County he was a son of the late William Henry and Annie Lillian Aycock Medlin. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Medlin; brothers, Charlie Medlin, Luther Medlin, Elbert Medlin, Dixon Medlin, J.T. Medlin and Harvey Medlin; and sisters, Ruby Lee Medlin, Hazel Rich, Mozelle Medlin, Ethel Worley and Ann Tedder, and son-in-law, Robby Lawhon. Tony was a member of Parrish Memorial Baptist Church in Selma.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 7, 2022 in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home with Rev. Steven Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Aycock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home in Selma.

Surviving are his daughters, Elizabeth Lawhon of Smithfield and Alice Hodge and husband Randy of Kenly; sister, Adell Sauls of Goldsboro; and grandchildren, Lauren Lawhon, Emma Hodge, Ayden Lawhon and Mallory Hodge.
