Kenly – Doris Grady Valadez, age 90 passed away Sunday October 4, 2020 at her home in Kenly. She was born in Duplin County on July 5, 1930 to the late Noah and Jessie Taylor Grady. The family will receive visitors Wednesday October 7, 2020 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Parrish Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday October 8, 2020 at 1 PM in Oakridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill. She is survived by Sons, Don Pate and wife Brenda of Stantonsburg, Clayton Pate and wife Joyce of Jacksonville; Daughters, Janet Simpson and husband Kenneth of Pink Hill, Susan Baltazar and husband Roberto of Kenly; Step daughter, Miriam Silva and husband Emilio of Princeton; Brother, Ralph Grady of Charlottte; 14 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; 1 great great great grandchild; Special family friends, Karen Pacheco, Amy and Mark Puckett. Ms. Valadez was a member at Turners Chapel Church in Pink Hill and loved dancing and her family.
