Frances Parrish Strickland, age 78, of Princeton, passed away at her home on December 18, 2017. Born in Johnston County on April 13, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Mary Little Parrish. Her husband was the late Roy Lee Strickland. Mrs. Strickland was a member of Parrish Memorial Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 22, at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with burial following in the Bizzell Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dennis Pollock and Rev. Tommy Pearce will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
Surviving are her sons, Kenneth Earl Eason and wife JoAnn of Micro, Roy Keith Strickland of Princeton; daughters Diane Eason Renfrow and husband Rick of Princeton, Donna Eason Deans and husband Junior of Brogden; her brother, Raeford Lee “Pete” Parrish and wife Cindy of Selma; grandchildren, Melissa and Claude Jackson, Jerry Paul and Danielle Moore, Sasha and Junior Renfrow, Selina and Ashly Harden-Renfrow, Tori Parrish, Amber and John Griffin, Ashley Deans, Robert and Cyndi Strickland and Jennifer Lynn Eason; and fourteen great grandchildren.
