Four Oaks, NC: Miss Margaret Lee Walker, age 94, died Friday at The SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Funeral Service will be 3:30 PM – Tuesday at Four Oaks United Methodist Church, Four Oaks. Rev. Joey Yow will officiate. Burial will follow in the Four Oaks City Cemetery.
Miss Walker was born on December 6, 1922 in Wilson County to the late Herbert Anderson and Kate Bealle Walker. Miss Walker was a retired Elementary School Teacher with Johnston County Public Schools with 33 years of service and was a member of Four Oaks United Methodist Church. After retirement, Miss Walker volunteered at Benson Elementary School for several years.
Surviving are many loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends 2:00 PM – 3:15 PM Tuesday prior to the service at Four Oaks United Methodist Church 302 N. Church Street, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be sent to the building fund at Four Oaks United Methodist Church, PO Box 177, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
