As of Monday, the Highway Patrol had not completed an accident report and no details were available.
I’m praying for them
I hope everyone is ok. I am unable for sure to say as I was not at that MVA but I will guess it was the Amazon driver that caused the accident. These drivers as polite as they are, they are not qualified to drive these vans. I have had a couple of close calls with them myself as well as they stop on the wrong side of a road at night with their lights on and blind you. Amazon does need to have more training for their drivers as well. Again, I want to say that I am not saying that the Amazon driver was the driver that caused the accident.
@Steve: I too, am unable for sure to say as I was not at that MVA but I will guess it was the pickup truck driver that caused the accident. Many drivers, as polite as they are, they are not qualified to drive pickup trucks. I have had a couple of close calls with pickup trucks myself, as well as pickup trucks sometimes stop on the wrong side of a road at night with their lights on and blind you. NCDMV does need to have more training for their pickup truck driver licenses, as well. Again, I want to say that I am not saying that the puckup truck driver was the driver that caused the accident.
Tell the truth, nice way to respond to what I posted though you do have some good points as I to have been blinded by pickup and cars as well being on the wrong side of the street. All I am saying is I have had several problems with Amazon vans. Please also remember, I have stood behind so many things you have posted and never mocked you.
@Steve: Wasn’t mocking you, just pointing out that your response encapsulates one of the biggest problems in our country today: People spreading innuendos about things they know nothing about, and they expecting their “opinions” to be weighted equally to facts.
