Rash Of Car Break-Ins Reported Near Four Oaks

The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rash of car break-ins and thefts near Four Oaks. About a dozen incidents have occurred in the last 10 days on Boyette Road and US 301 North of Four Oaks near Boyette Road.

Numerous items have been removed from vehicles.

Johnston County Sheriff’s Captain Jeff Caldwell told WTSB News that detectives have a person of interest in the incidents. Vehicle owners are encouraged to keep valuables out of sight and your cars locked, even when in your own driveway.
