Selma Man Facing Firearm And Narcotic Charges

A Selma man is being held on a $200,000 bond following his arrest on numerous charges.   On October 25th a Garner woman reported a pistol had been stolen from her while at a location on Highway 42 in the Cleveland community.

Johnston County sheriff’s detectives began investigating and on October 29th went to the residence of Eric Lee Creech, 21, on Hinnant Road near Selma.  At the address, detectives reportedly recovered the stolen firearm and also located 12 grams of marijuana and digital scales.

Creech was charged with larceny of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, altering or removing a gun serial number, felony parole violation, possession with intent to manufacture sell or deliver a controlled substance and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.
