SMITHFIELD – Police are search for two shoplifting suspects who stole 15 sports jerseys from a local business. The theft was reported April 27 at 5:48pm at Lids, located at 1025 Outlet Center Drive.
Smithfield Police said two unknown suspects wearing surgical masks and dark glasses left the business without paying for jerseys and shorts valued at $1,170. The suspects were last seen fleeing in a brown Kia.
The theft remains under investigation by Smithfield Police.
Isn’t it about time for masks to be banned in businesses now? The “pandemic” has been over for a while and the only reason to wear a mask now is to hide your identity.
