Police in Selma are searching for a lone suspect who robbed a convenience store early Sunday.
Around 2:10am, a man walked into Han-Dee Hugo’s Exxon at 446 US 70 Highway and asked to buy cigarettes. While the clerk was completing the transaction, the man implied he had a weapon and demanded money from the register.
The suspect made away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police said the suspect was a black male, about 5 foot 10, 165 pounds with a slender built. He was last seen wearing a blue polo-style shirt and blue jeans. He left on foot and no getaway car was spotted.
