SELMA – A tree has fallen across Jordan-Narron Road, north of Selma, causing a power outage and traffic delays.
Around 2:00pm Tuesday, the tree fell in the 200 block of Jordan Narron Road, off NC Highway 96 North, and became entangled in power lines.
North Side Fire Department has blocked the two lane road until power crews can arrive and remove the energized lines.
A power outage has been reported in the area.
