SMITHFIELD – Several weather related accidents were reported across Johnston County, Tuesday afternoon.
This single vehicle accident was reported shortly after 3:00pm on Buffalo Road, near Eason Drive, north of Smithfield.
The driver said he hydroplaned while traveling on Buffalo Road and skidded into the ditch.
No injuries were reported.
The State Highway Patrol investigated the accident.
