Camels Move Into AFCA Top-25 For First Time, Climb Stats Perform Rankings

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – After officially joining the FCS top-25 last week, Campbell is now nationally-ranked in both major polls, climbing into the AFCA Coaches Poll for the first time at No. 24.

The Fighting Camels also moved up to No. 18 in the Stats Perform FCS Top-25 Poll from their debut at No. 22 last week.

Campbell is 4-1 on the season, off to a 2-0 start in CAA play following Saturday’s 44-20 road win at Hampton. The Fighting Camels are unbeaten against FCS opponents.

Next up, the Camels will head back on the road for one last nonconference matchup, traveling to nearby Durham for a matchup at North Carolina Central on October 3.

Campbell will return to Barker-Lane Stadium following the bye week, taking on Towson on October 17 for Homecoming.
