Community Walk To Raise Awareness For Sexual Assault Survivors Set For April 22
SMITHFIELD, N.C. — In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the Sahari Center and Harbor of Johnston County are inviting the community to participate in a “Walk the Block” event on Wednesday, April 22.

The walk will begin at 12:30 p.m. at the Johnston County Courthouse, 207 E. Johnston St., with participants gathering at the front of the courthouse facing Market Street. The event aims to raise awareness about sexual assault and to show support for survivors.
No registration is required to join the walk.
“Walk the Block” provides an opportunity for the community to come together, stand in solidarity with survivors, and help promote education and prevention of sexual violence.
