Final Downtown Clayton Concert Of 2026 Set For Sept. 11

CLAYTON, N.C. – Downtown Clayton will close out its 2026 concert season Friday, Sept. 11, with one final night of live music at Town Square.
CD & The Mix will headline the season finale, with Peridot Sun opening the show.
The free concert will run from 6 until 9 p.m. at Town Square, located at the corner of Main and O’Neil streets. Activities begin at 6 p.m., with music scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
CD & The Mix performs a mix of pop, rock, R&B and soul. Peridot Sun will take the stage first.
Those attending are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair. Food trucks will be on site.
The town is also planning activities for children, including a bounce house and photo booth.
The Sept. 11 show marks the final event in this year’s Downtown Clayton Concert Series.
Admission is free and the event is open to the public.
