  1. Once a criminal, always a criminal. Just goes to show the court system for this county sucks. There is no justice anymore.

  2. Come to Wilson NC…Drugs drinking and vape dope here 24/7. I rode down town last night to drop my power bill…3 dirt bikes no light blk teen riding middle of 500 Block Nash Street…the main street going in to downtown…3th of a mile from Wilson Police department…I got out my car to call 911 and try to get a picture…I got a mouthful of vape dope…instant headache and threw up.
It’s every dang day and nite. I support the WPD 100% it’s bad when our local government does noy…It’s not racist to arrest blacks for breaking the law…The police only cares about you breaking the law,not your skin color..
Here in Wilson you see car paper tags old as dirt with the numbers changed with a sharpie.i see at least 4 cars every time I go to the market or WM…Don’t pay car taxes,no insurance, don’t pay for tags…I believe this is a good place to start looking for drugs and flat horrible people..They are on public streets.

    Go Police Go Ice

    • I have white teenage boys that ride dirt bikes and four wheelers on our road – and we have a busy main road nearby that they also will get on. Deputy lives on that road. I can see his house if I walk to the end of my road -it takes less than 90 seconds. He sees the kids . No helmets, and they are wide open at times. Then the parents get wasted and ride after dark. Nothing is done. We were told it was the state troopers job. They came – they saw – they did nothing. Since we are not in the town limits they are not worried about it.
I am only worried about them getting hurt . We have a trucking company on our road so it can get busy even though we are not in town, plus the main road connects Johnston to Wilson and Wayne county – so it’s really busy at times. I am glad the kids are at home at least but I don’t want to walk outside one day and see a busted head and body on the road because no one from their parent to law enforcement cares to take responsibility for the reckless behavior.
Mind you- they don’t live on my road – they live on a dirt cul-de-sac – they could ride there and they have about an acre of land it looks like. I would rather face plant on grass or dirt than on asphalt but not these people. I guess they are having fun – but still.
The tag thing is not limited to Wilson County. When I first moved to JoCo over 40 years ago – I met so many people driving with no current tags, no license, no insurance, no inspection – truly culture shock from where I grew up. I had not met a lot of working poor people before. They had other bills to pay before they could even think to pay for “extras” like that. They paid their rent, electric, groceries., etc. Their parents had worked in the cotton mills or tobacco fields – those jobs were gone (thanks Reagan) and now the people I met had kids and struggling and trying to help their aging parents who were now jobless. I don’t think any of them had a high school education- and their parents probably don’t have a middle school or elementary school education. I can only imagine it was worse for the black population in town. At least my white friends weren’t facing discrimination every day and if the man of the house lost his job he could find another one much faster than his black counterpart – even if he had less education. It suck’s to be poor – no matter what color you are. I learned empathy real quick back then. JoCo wathen – and still is- full of working poor (lower income) people. The vote against programs that could and would help them – but ignorance runs deep and I have tried my best to explain that there is no shame in being poor – but there is also no shame in getting temporary assistance to better one’s life and thus improve your children’s life as well.
